Blair QUAD Nursery

We decide to paint, and we sat for a long time looking at color after color trying to decide what we wanted. We finally decided on a green and yellow room. As this is pretty gender neutral. The reason for this is Kristen will be on bed rest soon and we have to get it done while she can still help and be a part. And I want the help as she is the better painter!

I demo the closet and remove the doors, this was fun. As we are going to put in a storage solution to help with the amount of stuff the babies will need. We put up a chair rail to break the visual line and we begin to paint.

The green paint goes up. Kristen and her little helper are having fun.

The yellow is up.

The Cherry furniture building begins.

The curtians go up and a some touch up paint this weekend.

The bed all 4 have been constructed. The rest is waiting for Kristen to come home.

We purchased a few photos for the Nursery and we have some stars for the ceiling.

Kristen and I put up stars and a mobile on the ceiling. The effect at nite is really cool. Looks like the night sky. Now, I hope they dont fall off and hurt the kids, well the stars not the mobile. We decide where we want the mobile on the ceiling and thenstart drilling the holes. It a stud with both wholes. So I screwed it in and had a good laugh.

This completes what we believe we can do. Now we just need babies.
