Date: 6/8/07 -- Final Thought's
I wanted to take this time to thank our Neo-team (HNPP). Dr. Simchowitz, Dr. Caplan, Dr. Haney, Dr. Al and Dr. Ahmed. They did a wonderful job getting the kids out of the hospital. We cannot say how great they treated us and kept us informed daily on the babies’ progress. If you are ever in need of a Neo Tem, you should really talk to them. They are great. I wanted to post a photo, but the only ones I could find were of them in College, and I promised not to post them.

All babies are off the Ventilators and are on C-pap assist. C-pap is the assist breathing to help them but not force them. This is really amazing and the doctors are really excited. Andrew (Baby B) had to have a little help getting his blood pressure up yesterday, but only one dose and he is fine now. Matthew (Baby A) is still kicking his covers off and we guess it feels like Kristen's bladder to him. She is happy it is not her anymore. Baby C is good. Avery Grace (Baby D) is good. They all have great color. Now I don’t wish to be too positive. The Doctors tell us this is called the honeymoon period for the first 72 Hours. So, fingers crossed. We are also told they will lose about 10-20% of their body weight at his size and it will take about 14 days to get it back. This is normal.
